Our city's slogan is "Climate best by government test" with regard to weather (apparently there was some study conducted by US and German gov'ts during WW1 and it was decided). We have very comfortable weather with heat waves once in awhile that last no longer than 3 days We're just getting over one right now!
We're Niners fans, don't really get into college sports much but I guess I'd say I'm a Stanford fan if I have to claim a team. Realistically, though, my husband is the big sports fan. I go along to people watch unless it's a Giants game. I'm a huge SF Giants fan!

Hmmmm....got me thinkin' :) Lol...who knows where I will end up. I should post pics of all the weird animals and bugs that are clouding up my Vision Quest :/ Actually I may do that...a journey blog type thing....Absolutely beautiful area! And of course there is the wonderful friendly you to make the locale even more inviting :)

I used to live on the little island of Alameda in the SF bay. It has it's pro's and con's. I didn't like the politics there, so it was nice to move away. If California files for bankruptcy, the No. cal people would be left standing there confused, and saying, "how did that happen?"
But, there are things I miss, like the mountain bike trails.

Necro, I always love your pictures and I get totally jealousized every time I see them hehe
I also live near saddleback. Sometimes I ride to the top. The so. cal. trails are not as pretty as no. cal. trails, and not as well maintained. But, i take what i can get, it's good enough. This is O'Neal Park. From the position of the bike, if i look in the opposite direction, i can see the ocean.
