View Full Version : Just how big of a gun do you need to blast Aliens?

The other day someone changed something in the code (which is happening at lightning pace here as Star Legends gets ready for closed beta) which caused all the weapons to be, well, a little out of proportion. We logged in for a playtest session and we were like, "Hmm, ok, that's not quite right."

Which brings up the question, "Just how big of a gun do you need for blasting Aliens, anyway?" :D

We all had a good laugh and then fixed the bug - but we wanted to share these with you because they're just too funny!

Little guns can have big booms too, as the Noisy Cricket demonstrates.

Then again Bird in PL has huge crossbows bigger than his body, so why not in SL too for the Operative?

Thanks for sharing that Sam :)

I like the char model - top work. The gun could get in the way a lot in tight corridors or

"Dang! I feel like I'm moving house with this thing!" :D

I'd like to ensure the chars use BOTH ARMS to carry those things also, no:

"I SAID DRAW!"

with those guns..

Also quick Q: Is the Operative still MODE or Human??

Always thought the Kill-o-Zap gun was effective enough but now that you asked...how about small caliber (7.62) BUT with a RoF that makes a mini-gun look like a lever action?

The size should be proportionate to the character holding the gun. It would be weird seeing a 10 foot alien holding a gun that was 3 inches... lol
