To use Shootme (and every other app I've see to take android screenshots), your phone must be rooted. I don't think most people have a rooted phone. I'd love to take shots and capture video. If anyone knows an app like that, please post it here.

Not all phones need to be rooted to use shootme its just a case of trying it.
if you want to root your phone search the web for an app called Z4ROOT its a free app that roots and unroots your phone with just one push of a button.

Shootme didn't work for me. But I'm going to try z4root. I found lots of info at addictivetips.com.
