Is it just me or is second mystery weapon quest taking forever?

I'm lvl 48 and I am currently doing the mystery weapon quest, I've acquired mystery helm and armor, but while doing the weapon quest of nanotubing (taking armor of r'loxx and the other alien boss) I was stuck. I've killed them at least 15 times and have not got a single nanotube. Is it meant to take that long?:confused:

yes they r meant to take long i got my 4 nanotube after my 64 run at plasma pyrimaid
