What is wrong with all this..

So...I know some items are rare but why are so overpriced like a lvl 50 pink worth soon much more than a yellow with uch Better stats?
BTW which stats effect aoe damage most?

Ehh yellow is never better than pink depending on level and they cost more since there rare to find. Very hard to get while a yellow is a easy drop loot and drops like crazy. Aoe well u can get the mage mage staff of the kepper staff for aoe. if your low leverl i recomend the necromancers fire satff something like that it is level 14 green and gets aoe pretty well. Amazingly enough, there are players who cannot read an item's stats or how it affects their character's stats.
Or at least that's the only conclusion sometimes that make sense.

OTOH, sometimes, the pink is cool looking or part of a set or it's the country-club mentality (must look a certain way to belong to the club).
