Your main attribute boots your bonus damage. The higher main attribute you have, the higher your bonus damage will be.

- Rogue Main Attribute: Dexterity
- Sorcerer Main Attribute: Intelligence
- Warrior Main Attribute: Strength

The way bonus damage works is that it boosts any damage multipliers on gear you have. For example, if you are wearing a ring that grants 3.0 damage in stats, this 3.0 damage will be multiplied by bonus damage. Let us say your bonus damage was 400%, so the equation would be 3.0 x 4 = 12. This would be the amount of damage your ring would grant when not factoring in any attribute stats like dex, int, or str.

Thank you for the enlightenment Zeus. That is definitely true.
Does bonus damage work in conjunction with lightning jewels?
If so.. how to maximise the critical output damage?

Critical hit points only influences your Crit stat; so, for example, if your jewel adds 2% crit, your critical stat will be raised by 2%. It has nothing to do with bonus damage.
