My ipod was stolen a couple days ago. I don't know by whom, but if they wanted to they could take all my stuff, delete my level 56 and the rest of my characters, and I'm really worried about it. I'm about to meet up with a friend to use his to change my password and such, but if I do will he still be able to get my new password by clicking 'forgot password' and having it emailed to him? What should I do? And if everything is already gone idk what to do... please help.

I'm sorry if this wasn't the right forum to post this in, I'm just freakin out a little.

And what if he logged on, and did some things to like get me banned? Is there anyway I can redeem that, because it wasn't me. I'm a loyal and rule-abiding citizen of Alterra.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You should first change your email password. I have also banned your account so the user can't log in. Just let me know when you want it unbanned.

yep! change your password and hope for the best. If your ipod was password protected, it wouldnt much of an issue unless its 0000 or something. I hope you get it back soon!
Make sure you didnt misplace it or anything.

Wow, devs are fast. I've had my ipod stolen before. Before PL thank goodness, but I feel for you Rhu.
Make sure to change all other passwords on anything you've accessed through your ipod, especially if you had it through an app and it logs in automatically. Don't forget it can have access to your email(s), facebook, twitter, etc as well. Change all passwords of anything you've accessed through your ipod.

Good luck and hopefully, you did have the ipod password protected. More than likely then, they'll just wipe it.

Oh yeah, you should also file a police report with the ipod's serial #. They can't do a lot to track it but it helps with their crime stats and if they find it in a pawn shop or something, it can be returned to you. You can pre-type a statement and go there and attach the statement to their form and sign their crime report form. There's some online registries as well.

O.o, did Asommers just give you the power to unlift a perm ban? Epic. I'm jealous :). Asommer, rock on! 5/5 in Customer Support.

I hope pl isn't all your worried about xD

They can check browsing history, cookies such as passwords, and if you use the same passwrord for everything that can be bad. Also make sure to check apple account.

Our Devs do rock. :) And Rhudien, I'm so sorry that happened to you. Don't forget to change other passwords you might have saved like for this forum or others in addition to your email. And I hope karma bites the thief in the backside hard.

Dang, that's terrible to hear -- sorry for your loss. :( My house was burglarized in college -- lost mine, too (didn't play PL then).

Just wanted to throw a +1 to the Devs, too, for their epic response time. :)
