Just spent 1 million gold for golden candy chests! TWO SKULL BAGS IS WHAT I GOT FROM IT!😛 I keep on getting golden L, O, and E but not V! If only they're tradable I would save a lot of gold!💰😵 ANYWAYS what'd you guys got from the golden candy chests?!😃😛 You got lucky? Missing just one letter? Got broke after and didn't got lucky? I'm interested to know!👏😂
I chose not to participate because i got most of the vanities from last year :P

There is a chance to get this from the crate that drops from the event boss. I think it is a rare chance however it does drop. Remiem stated this on the Lovecraft thread in the Announcement sub-forum

Remember the Golden Chest vanities are NOT tradeable once they drop from the chest. However, the chest itself is tradeable.

Farm letters. Sell them.
For events, basically farm event-specific stuff (farming = mostly free) and sell them.

1m is a lot of gold! Sheesh, as much as I love the backpack, I wouldn't give up having wings. For 1m gold, those birthday wings would be gold better spent!

LMAO, same last valentines day event (2015). I spent alot to get the golden version of the cupid vanity just to loot the rogue set.

I didn't spend any on the event (except to buy gold love lix, which the golden heart chests more than covered) I was the guy on the corner selling all you all golden heart chests to feed your vanity backpack addiction. All of your shinny gold was put too good use buying a arc staff (:
