Hello everyone,

What they call "target area blast" is not the same as the "range". Let me demonstrate using an example:

If you have played as a bird (or checked this forum out), you will know that Blast Shot has a 12m "range" and 6m "target area blast", so you can hurt an enemy up to 12m away, and if there is another enemy up to 6m away from the one you just hit, you hurt that one too (So, theoretically, you can hurt an enemy up to 18m away from your bird). This explains why birds (me included) often use Blast Shot whenever the enemies are bunched up - it is like an exploding arrow.

With the mage's Firestorm, I think the reason why "target area blast" is 0m is to balance characters because otherwise Firestorm would be more or less an area version of Blast Shot, possibly making birds redundant.
