AH!? Visa gift card not working? :(

Hey, just purchased a $50 prepaid visa gift card HOPING to purchase 800 plat. Well, didn't work. Some reason it's not going through. All the information is correct and I registered the card on giftcardmall.com/mygift.

I have done visa prepaid gift card purchases in the past with google checkout and paypal and have had no problems.

Also I sent a email to Spacetime but can't seem to tell if it sent or not.

(wondering if any admins are on that can help)

Well now I tried purchasing from computer. Going well so far, but still pending at google? How long does it take em for that? Last time was instant when I used these.

first did u "register" the card online. if u did n its not working call the number on the card. i had an issue as simple as the card got assigned a diff zip code. they fixed it n got my plat.

I had the same problem but then I figured out how to get it fixed, for the card to work for online purchases you have to call the Visa-Vanilla number on the back of your Prepaid debit card, Ask them to make the card work for online purchases. The reason it won't go through is that every debit card has a zip code to identify the owner. The purchase won't go through unless that zip code is set up. The only way to do this is to call the people tomorrow morning, then the card can be used online.

I already set up the zip online. I've done it this same way in the past with no issue.

Shoulda just bought an Itunes Card from the Apple Store, they can send you the code once you pay. Weird thing is that I used my prepaid visa card that I got as a gift for platinum a few weeks ago?

Actually might be working now since I tried it online. It's still pending and says shipped to spacetime studios. Taking quite a long time though..

Alright this is really some major crap. 10 hours and still not confirmed nor denied. WHY? Can I get an answer or response? Still haven't heard from Spacetime or anything. Can't cancel the order. ... ... ...

1) It's a holiday weekend, so responses from sts will be slow or not happening at all until tuesday.
2) It's not being held up at our end anyway, so it's google checkout or paypal that you'd need to get in touch with, whichever you're trying to use.

Well its saying my order was sent to spacetime studios. On purchase history it shows a $50 purchase. I click details and that's when it says it was sent to you on July 2nd.

Dont purchases have to take time in order to 'deliver' ur plat? I dont think its gonna come right away.

I do NOT recommend this Google checkout at all. Denying my gift card for insufficient funds when it has $50 on it? They then tell me to update my information... Which is all correct. So I try to reenter the information and it says I can't because the card isn't 30 days old.

I also can't cancel the "pending" part of whatever the heck its doing so basically stuck. Time to call / email them and complain.

Are you sure they didn't charge a 5 dollar activation fee or something? It would be deducted from the balance of your card. Might want to try two 20 dollar orders.

Google checkout took two 1 dollar pending offers .. thought that was verification. I've used these cards in the past online with zero fees.

Be nice if they would let me cancel the freaking thing! Never using checkout again. Sticking with paypal.

Anyone know if I can just email Google and have them cancel the order? Trying to on Google checkout but doesn't let me type anything in, only multiple choice questions.

We can often cancel the orders from our end - just email support and tell them which order you want canceled (I've already taken care of this with your order).
