No you can't transfer from Facebook to email account. It has always been like that.

Can you show me a screenshot of the page that doesn't let you use facebook log in?

Ok thats clearly a bug, send them another email and show them the video again (now that your video is not private anymore). They might help you fix your game for you and log in with facebook again.
