Can someone tell me how damage is calculated?

I just need a rough estimation.

I just came back to PL after about 8 months off. I thought I had a good grasp of how damage was calculated.

I am hearing/seeing 55 archers crit for 1k+ and I am just wondering how this is being accomplished. I am still level 50 but I am seeing people criting for 1k+ with weapons show a lower base damage than what I use now. I messed with some armor to see how much some dex from armor pieces affected my damage, and it was a small amount(considering I am trying to figure out where they are getting the other 400 damage from).

I just need someone to roughly explain how a combo of armor/weapons/skills gets that crit damage over 1000+. What are the biggest contributing factors?

I hit crits for over 1k on my bird regularly, without damage pots. It usually occurs after I have debuffed and buffed, and mages have debuffed also. All of those armor debuffs add up!

Anyway, 4k would be possible with a pute... I can hit over 1k every once-in-a-while on mine, with 67 dex.

It depends on what the last buff was, so 4x doesn't always take priority:

Player takes damage orb, then uses 4x damage elixir while damage orb is active = 4x damage elixir only
Player takes 4x damage elixir, then takes damage orb while elixir is active = damage orb only, 4x damage elixir no longer functions

At least that's how it's been 2 months ago and beyond that, unless it's been totally changed now.

Ok then let me ask. For those of you who can crit for 1k+.. what is your base damage in your stats screen... no buffs or elixers.. the base damage aboce your dps in the stat screen.

But like I said, I only hit for 1k usually when I'm buffed and everyone has debuffed the enemies.

Not that I don't believe you, but I have the same stats on my bird (custom set with 2%crit/10dmg ring). I've yet to see me hit 1k+ without dmg pot though. I'm going to watch my dmg a little more closely the coming days, because I might just've missed the number :)

Would you mind trying to post some screenshots of when you hit 1k+? As said, it's not that I don't believe you, I just would like to see it's actually possible :)

Unfortunately, I'm on an Android, and I just updated to gingerbread, so I can no longer take screens without rooting, which I will not do as it voids my protection plan. I can say that it usually happens with my blast shot combo. I really wish I could take a screen for you :(

Also, I cannot stress this enough, it only happens when enemies are fully debuffed.
