This week in Arcane Legends! Visit the NPC Jerita, located in major town hubs to purchase Jewel Elixirs!
Jewel Elixirs can be consumed to temporarily grant you the chance to magically coalesce a jewel type of your choice from damage dealt to a PvE enemy.
Jewel Elixirs cost 8 platinum and grant you this special power for 15 minutes. It even has a rare chance to drop a damaged jewel! But, remember, even the most powerful elixir can't make jewels drop where they do not. So, if you're after a particular jewel, you'll want to make sure you're farming in the appropriate zones.

+ Chaos jewels now have the chance to drop in Normal and Elite Tindirin.
+ Tindirin maps no longer drop Water or Nature jewels.
+ Shuyal Normal and Elite maps now have the chance to drop Mind, Fury and Finesse jewels.
Jewel Elixirs will be available until Thursday 3/3.

Anyway you should have really made them tradeable this time around. A whole week pure plat event is just not the best really

I noticed alot of stuff is starting to cost platinum...... more stuff should be availeble for the "FREE" players.

2 damaged 6 cracked from 1 elixir doesnt seem much worth it for me. thx guys
edit: yes i am doing damage with damage elixir which makes 1100 dmg and %55 crit -buffed
DOT is your friend with these elix.

You are awarded jewels randomly for every tick of damage. You don't want high damage. You want low damage. Respec for low damage / high health (all strength and no dex) and use level 1 dags. Skills like nox and traps are great.

indeed it is! with using just dot on large amount of mobs drops are amazing 120 cracked 44 damaged finesse per 1 hour. i hope they dont nerf this :)
What i do is going elite shuyal 2nd map and pull first 3 or 4 group of mobs with tentacles , it quite a big pull and use dagger proc and nox dot on mobs. kill them slowly, charge dagger and nox to max aoe and proc

Making it tradable would not be wise, you could stash them and continue to use after event. Nothing wrong with Extra's suggestion of using another plat based item that is tradable to purchase the Jewel elix though

Thank you for making the changes to where and what jewels drop in the higher tiered maps. That change makes jewel farming so much more fun!!

It's location and strategy for runs. I'll give you one good tip without giving up my complete secret for massive successful drop runs, Don't kill the boss at the end, he's a waste of time and your elixir !!!
Run the room and restart at end, DONT WASTE YOUR ELIXER TIME WITH THE BOSS !!!

This is the exact kind of selfish attitude that has ruined friendship and party play in this game. I bet you are one of those ppl who used to steal the crafting materials while ppl were fighting off mobs in crafting events like garetta rebuilding.
Hello Carapace,
You have recently talked about how arcane staff dmg was designed for party benefit & how new skill mastery was op in a pt play situation. What you should really be aware of is that there really isn't a lot of pt play in this game apart from a very few select op groups. The rest of the pt's are mostly made out of on the spot need because of maps like rengol elite not refreshing. These kind of pt's never run in the professional sense & everyone is doing their own things.
My point here is that weapons should never be designed with the view of party benefit but looked at as an individual benefit/buffs & designed accordingly.
I apologize if I have derailed this thread but it is an issue bugging me ever since carapace gave an explanation on the workings of the arcane staff.

This elix is good....15mins I got 31 cracked 7damaged finesse, something I'm happy to buy with plats at last lol

Mhhhh i have done 10 run with these elixir and got a total of 228 damaged finesse jewel (i have combined cracked into damaged)
So 3m4 with 80 plat
340k with 8 plat
Not bad

Not really thrilled that the game is turning into pay to play. No way for non plat user to keep up any more.

Use skills that do damage over time like nox or use storm shot, razor, (trap?)

This is with a rogue? ~350 average per hour on mage is normal but I thought that rogues had a harder time with it.

Man. These Jewel Elixirs are wack! How is this guy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBNe2VFhAEU getting tons of drops when me and my friends do the exact same thing and only end up with 4 cracks and 2 damage each elixir on average.
I feel as though I was conned. The first elixir dropped a decent amount and then each elixir after dropped less and less than the previous. I was in the right maps and same area as the ones in the videos above and yet, nothing.
This is my first and last purchase of plats.

Non-plat players are losing about 7-10 million per hour atm. That is how much you can make in this event.

Is your inventory full. You will stop receiving jewels if full inventory
