can someone make a crafting guide?

I'm a new player (lvl 20 archer)and i've been playing for about 3 days. i see a lot of players running around with gems in their weapons and stuff floating off of them. im guessing that they crafted the items or the items were crafted and they bought them. is there a post that tells you everything you need to know about crafting, or can someone tell me the basics to crafting, like

where to craft

what to craft

what character to craft for

what gems mean

and so on.

I bet he is thinking of level 51—55 items since the only crafted items with gems are the armor amd weapons on level 55
And the shiny thing amd the special effects are sets and things that come with those items
