Can't get the update to install. I even uninstalled the game and can't get it to install.

If you are on Android,
Download directly via the STS site (there's a thread somewhere about that, can't search it on mobile at the moment)
Or just find smdl2tmp1.asec in your Android's file directory, and delete it.
Or just remove the SD card (assuming your device has one installed)
