Gears is definitely the best guild ive been in.

As for the reason I had lowlyspy leave is im using him to make and manage my guild, Blackstar Militia. I still have my alt, Averagespy in this guild with no intention of having him leave.

I completely support this guild in every way possible. Gears gets a +70 in my book.

Considering there are guilds with over 100 members, ranging from lvl 2 to 21, I'd say our 50 or so members with a um...smaller...range of levels is a pretty solid number.

Guys I made a sample signature with very basic photoshopping....I mean VERY basic...like I hardly did anything besides merge a few layers and match some fonts.
Let me know what you think. I can do one for everyone and we can have matching signatures. I'll experiment with other gears of war images to see if I can make something cool.

It's simple and too the point...and fits the terribly small 500 by 100 rules.
I'm sure some kid in some other guild whos good with photoshop will make one for every member in his guild...but whatever.

it's shrinking the jpg quality, try raising the dpi and uploading as a png? might work?

It was uploaded as a png on imageshack but the file type was too big and a misread the rules. 500 x 100 or 15kb, whichever is smaller...so I guess it was converting to 15kb.

Just flattened everything and saved as a GIF file at 16kb...shrunk it down in size and behold, it's clear and easy to read.

I'll see what I can do with pink.

EDIT: If you guys want different colors let me know. Takes a little bit longer and because of the way masked the emblem, my color range isn't too wide for the emblem...like no weird hues of colors. But I can do any color for the words.

For anyone having trouble linking your signature:
Looking at Nike's I see that putting in a link from Imageshack might be lower quality than uploading directly from your computer, or maybe it's cause Nike's was 1 kb too big.

To upload through the forums: Save the signature I upload to your laptop. Go to settings, then edit signature. In the part under where your signature goes are two options; post a link or upload from files. Select the file from your computer, then hit "upload." The image should appear above, but not yet in your signature box. Right click the image and select "Copy Image Address" and then paste that into your signature box. It will be a pretty long link, but it's fine. Enclose that link in Tags, so it will look like so:

Supposed to be my name etched into the metal of the gun...couldn't find any steel colored metal parts large enough on the Lancer for my name, so had to put it on black metal :( Looks a little off and not much like grinded-in metal, but still pretty cool. Took forever to put each letter one at a time to follow the gun shape change because I don't know how to do it the fast way :(

Ok guys I made a group for Gears of war and its invite only. Place where we can talk in privateI will be sending invites out..When you accept go to My Profile next to your log in info. Once in my profile go to bottom left and you will see groups. Click on Gears of War and enter the madness.

Here you go Shadow. Tried something new with drop shadowing and perspectives...figured it was needed cause of the name "Shadow."
These two are hardly different, just the opacity on some parts of the drops. The 2nd one might be easier to read, I haven't compared them yet.

The shadowy stuff is too hard to see on the emblem on mine, now that I look at it. I was trying to keep it all black, but clearly you can't tell where the emblem ends and the shadows begin.

I'm trying something new with inverting, i'll see how it goes....since VCAST wont work on my new phone I can't play SL anyways.
