Effect of Elixir on gold drops

Does using an Elixir boost/increase the amount of gold one receives in battle or treasure chest. I heard somewhere that it does but Im not really sure. Can someone help me on this, I really would appreciate it.

That's hogwash no it doesn't only luck elixer helps reroll chance on items doesn't affect gold.

Nope. Nothing you can do to increase the amount of gold you loot off of a mob or chest as far as I'm concerned.

The combo elixirs have luck rolled into them. Those obviously would affect drops, in as much as Luck Potions used to. Personally never re-rolled anything interesting, but that's just me.
