Someone offer me Nekro's egg for 1,5m.. i thought it was really cheap price,so i won't lost this chance,so i bought it from him. And i want to sell it for 1,65m in paradise pier. When i got the buyer and trade. I checked on my bag and that egg is LOST!!
I ask my guilmate about this and my guildmate said "be carefull for buying something for a cheap price is could be hacked/copied items."
And the Conclusion is I Lost 1,5m.

STS please fix this. This may is a little problem but, it could be big problem in AL.

Yep! It's best to just keep your gold and items as safe as possible, as far as I know things aren't disappearing from crafting station or stash..but I may be wrong..just trying and keep items safe and don't spend any gold until they fix this!

OK so IF this is a dupe there are ways to avoid this.it's from Diablo 2 and maybe even earlier.

1:if it's a really good deal and an expensive item,you can take this course to further protect yourself(bit of a pain but worth it).

1: when you go to trade,DO NOT DO IT IN THE SAME MAP.MAKE THE DUDE PARTY YOU AND MOVE TO A DIFFERENT MAP.

2:Once at the new trading map,make him move to one last map(MOST IMPORTANT STEP!)don't enter trade until the second map of just you two!

THIS INFORMATION IS FROM A METHOD OLD AS WOOD.CAN EASILY BE AVOIDED.IM NOT SAYING THIS IS WHAT IS HAPPENING, THIS IS JUST INFORMATION TO INFORM YOU IF YOUR BUYING EXPENSIVE ITEMS AND ARE WORRIED NOW WITH ACCUSATIONS OF DUPING HAPPENING.(HE IS MAKING THESE BAD ITEMS SOMEHOW AND STG SERVERS CAN TELL THEY ARE NOT AUTHENTIC ITEMS AND POOFS IT.KEEPS GLITCHED ITEMS FROM EVER HITTING THE STREETS.)

Oh interesting. So these are some sort of ghost items. Interesting, but somehow makes sense. When someone told me the deal, I did wonder whether someone figured out a dupe. However, real duped items do not disappear. But if its a ghost/syncing issue, then yeah, poofing could be a problem.

In D2, the duping method involved severe server overload in a game and forcing disconnects. The person with the original items would hand over the items, get disconnected and be 'reset' still holding them. And a second player would save and exit with the items, thus making duplicates before that person could reset to not having them.

The originals were called 'perms' by players, and the copies were 'non-perms.' The fakes would stay until a player left a game. However, you could prevent the 'poofing' with methods, such as entering & exit the trade screen just prior to exiting, as it would save your inventory.

Now, the method used in D2 likely isn't the one used in AL, if that is indeed what is happening. AL seems to update/save every second or so. There is no 30 second window between the game's auto-saving.

However, warping from map to map may not ensure the items in AL are indeed perm. They may only last on a player until they get 'put up,' into a trade screen, gifted, stashed, or in the auction.

In D2, you could trade for the non-perms and they would go into your inventory. They wouldn't disappear after trading for them.

Changing maps in AL is much different than it is in D2. I wouldn't be 100% sure it would ensure items are perm. It is possible that the person could be able to do a 'temp perm' by themselves in each map, without the assistance of another player.

Another possibility is that a player is capable of creating the duplicate in a map without requiring the server to disconnect, as opposed to in D2 requiring it. This would mean a person could remap multiple times for you and recreate the duplicate.


Until we get answers from the Sts staff, it may be best to avoid trades done through the trade window. It could always just be a bug involving the trade window eating random items.

However, warping from map to map may not ensure the items in AL are indeed perm. They may only last on a player until they get 'put up,' into a trade screen, gifted, stashed, or in the auction.

In D2, you could trade for the non-perms and they would go into your inventory. They wouldn't disappear after trading for them.

Changing maps in AL is much different than it is in D2. I wouldn't be 100% sure it would ensure items are perm. It is possible that the person could be able to do a 'temp perm' by themselves in each map, without the assistance of another player.

Another possibility is that a player is capable of creating the duplicate in a map without requiring the server to disconnect, as opposed to in D2 requiring it. This would mean a person could remap multiple times for you and recreate the duplicate.


Until we get answers from the Sts staff, it may be best to avoid trades done through the trade window. It could always just be a bug involving the trade window eating random items.

I will say this, it involved a third party program.what you are describing is called a rollback and that's an older school necro trick.

If d2 had a 30 second wait to save, duping would be on par with 360.

This problem is most likely connected to the loot in massive cryostar chests released as a part of the 46 level jump package. Those items looted from the massive cryostar crates are the ones that have disappeared /gonna missing. It would be unwise to jump to conclusions. A reply from the Devs would be appreciated since this is a legit issue

1) all of us bought from a common seller
2)eggs sold by this guy only has the problem
3)the eggs which can be sold in auc are later bought by the same seller

5)the seller is mostly a noob as he didnt want to reveal his personal identity
6)many other games also had such a scam

OK so IF this is a dupe there are ways to avoid this.it's from Diablo 2 and maybe even earlier.

1:if it's a really good deal and an expensive item,you can take this course to further protect yourself(bit of a pain but worth it).

1: when you go to trade,DO NOT DO IT IN THE SAME MAP.MAKE THE DUDE PARTY YOU AND MOVE TO A DIFFERENT MAP.

2:Once at the new trading map,make him move to one last map(MOST IMPORTANT STEP!)don't enter trade until the second map of just you two!

THIS INFORMATION IS FROM A METHOD OLD AS WOOD.CAN EASILY BE AVOIDED.IM NOT SAYING THIS IS WHAT IS HAPPENING, THIS IS JUST INFORMATION TO INFORM YOU IF YOUR BUYING EXPENSIVE ITEMS AND ARE WORRIED NOW WITH ACCUSATIONS OF DUPING HAPPENING.(HE IS MAKING THESE BAD ITEMS SOMEHOW AND STG SERVERS CAN TELL THEY ARE NOT AUTHENTIC ITEMS AND POOFS IT.KEEPS GLITCHED ITEMS FROM EVER HITTING THE STREETS.)

This could very well be a bug,but I'm slightly educated on this as I have lost massive loot to this(arguably the #1 pvp caster amulet on d2 for YEARS was passed of on me for my life savings...and POOF on me.

I traded my glinstone blunderbuss of willpower for dragon hunter staff, it all went fine and after I equipped it I joined an elite dungeon and when I got there my weapon was gone! I better get my staff back I don't even have a wep now and can't play

i have been waiting for two days since there was a bug..
my dragon hunter sword still stuck at the Upgrade/crafting slot.
Written "Complete" there. But when u clicking at it. it doesn't pop up, but stay at the crafting/upgrading slot and still written "complete" there.
This is the 2x24 hours i have been waiting for it.
Please Fix it. I need the crafting slot.
And Remi, i have been trying to contact you in game too...
but you never answered. I don't spam and just straight to the point, but u never replied.

Well I received my first letter today regarding my first Email I sent day after up date when my L47 Helm runeterror & 2 standards of Finn & One Fortified Finn disappeared from my crafting table i woke up it was gone but as I said now that STS are answering my a Email from my first one not even my 2nd Email or all my posts on here about it So I gather they must be really really busy with all this stuff hopefully if we are all patient we will get our stuff back as soon as they can sort it I really hope so I want my Glintstone Runeofterror & gems back badly want too use the frotified finn in my new armour and need that one that dissapeared for last slot Gem Prices Shooting back up Sky high again I see... :( So hopefully this is things getting fixed I Mean they they do a have a lot of players too sort out and then all the chancers shouting they lost millions in gold, Lets try be a little more patient ... ��✌��️

I think you are correct there must be a lot of people get the error too.
