Is Elite Staab a miniboss?

Sorry if this has been posted before.

Minibosses (that yield no Elite AP count) are supposed to have a yellow marker around them. I got Elite Bracken AP killing Staab but now I noticed that he is marked as miniboss. Does it still count towards 500 Elite bosses AP after the update?

I think he is a boss. I did most of my brack runs there and I got the 100 boss AP.

Me too, but it was before the client update. My question is if Staab still counts for 500 Elite AP.
