Well, on my comp, i usually use firefox but when i go to my homepage, google, and i enter sts web address, it shows a page that says that the page was not found on the server. Then it says 'Thats all we know.' It works fine on internet explorer but not on firefox. If i search something like sts web addresss and click the link, it will send me to the same page. But if i search like 'google firefox redirect virus' and it is in a google forum kinda thing on the google server, it loads and lets me read it. If i change my homepage to yahoo or something, it does the same google thing. I tried restarting my computer and that didnt work. It worked earlier and the only website i went on since then was this. I really doubt sts would have viruses or anything tho...Any help? Im running a full scan usin malwarebytes atm and hoping for some results. Plz Plz help!

EDIT: The full scan just completed and one adware was found. I deleted the adware and opened firefox to no avai. Im thinking of just uninstalling firefox and using internet explorer. I still need help tho! PLz!

I'll check my firefox real quick and let you know.

Edit: Just checked and it worked fine. I would make sure that everything is spelled correctly.

In all seriousness, try Ctrl Shift Deleting everything. And not just the time frame everything, check every box.

EDIT: my rough translation of it(I barely know spannish)

ugh poof i uninstalled firefox so no prob now. And i found out that google/firefox has had this problem before...sorta. turns out there was an virus that would return false google searches when you searched in firefox. I dont think it could be on my computer because it returns valid results. im using ie now....but i still wanna know how this happened and what really happened. Also, when i typed in a web address, it would send me to that 404 error page and then have the web address up in the web address thing at the top. Also, the name of the webpage was something like "Error 404 (Page Not Found!!1)"

The 1 at the end was in the name page tho which makes me think its a fake google page. ugh this is killing me...-_-

EDIT: lol i looked at the other vids related to that and watched two ones where the guy deleted system32 (or something like that) xDxD
