Need some help

So, not entirely sure what to do with my gear, should I sell arcane staff and arcane ring then buy new expansion stuff? Since the staff won't be getting the buff, not sure that it's worth having so I'm very tempted to sell since I anticipate it's value will only depreciate.

Any input / help?
