Ive had good connections now but only in this game where it always i mean always ping spikes even if im connected to the wifi!! Whats up with that?

I have tried on several maps, and even when my ping is green I found the same problem happening on the more popular maps in game. It was especially bad in KT4 and Tindirin Wilds.

As a player progresses through a map, it takes up to 10 seconds for each group of mobs to load, and another 5+ seconds before they are targetable or even notice you are there. This means that elixirs are being wasted, mobs can't be pulled, and it's really frustrating when we just want to level up. Also, even with green ping, half the time my arrows go right past the mobs.

This is looking like a pretty major server issue, or else whatever was done to the way mobs load in order to try and fix lag, is having the opposite effect. It doesn't seem to be happening on the lesser-used maps, but the ones it is happening on are pretty much unplayable.

This is partially STS's fault for not having a better infrastructure to handle mass influx of game instances, but moreso it's the fault of players. As many players know, there's a bug for xp in a map. There are hundreds, maybe thousands, of people in instances of that map to get xp while away from the keyboard. Hundreds of these instances each calculating things takes resources away from the servers. The players, honestly, are at fault for this lag, not STS.

A lot of people have turned to AFK levelling because of the lag. I wasted my xp elixir doing tombs only because I was thisclose to capping. But it was horrible. Half the time I couldn't see the mobs. I was just running and spamming attacks. This lag is wasting our time and resources.

Same.. This started last night when I was running with friends in kt4 and had to stop because the ping was unbearable.. Like people have used their 7 day elixirs and now they are wasting hours on that elixir because they can't play.. I feel STS should give a refund on some elixirs or at least add extra time to our 7 day elixirs.

Yup, skills take 3 seconds to land after being cast, I don't mind bad ping but awfully de-synk is just overwhelming.

Ping ranges from 100+ to 6k. However even though my ping is green, my screen still lags and mobs aren't always visible. One normal kt4 run usually takes us 1:20, but today we're lucky if we get it in 2 minutes. A lot of elixir time is also wasted because it takes quite a while to enter map, so someone is always waiting with lix ticking.

Even when my pings in the green it feels like I'm playing with ping in the red. Impossible to run anything, mobs won't load until 5 to sometimes 15 seconds later in some places. Skills have a good 3 second delay to them. Even trying to view/purchase/sell something on the auction hall is a pain in the rear end. Hopefully you all can sort this out soon, we've got some leveling to do! :D

Relevant info: Thousands of instances of tindirin rock horn summit, each of which taking processing power from your servers to spawn lava pools while the players are away, granting them XP in the meantime. Hot fix the XP bug and I guarantee the issue of lag will disappear.

I cant figure out how I'm lagging so much when my ping is stable between 150 and 400. There's at least a one-second delay in my skills and attacks with frequent freezes as if my ping were 1,000+. A warrior in my party used skyward smash and i can swear he was stuck in the air for two seconds as my attacks fazed through the mobs without effect. I looked down at my ping and it was only 330, and no spike followed. I've only recently been experiencing this, and I'm on 4G.

Next I came to camp. Took me about 35 sec (doggy walking slowly) to zone in to camp. And here is the ping

My next stop was summit. There I found normal ping as i zoned in, but as I ran through the map I found the mobs took forever to show up on my screen and took quite a while before I could even attempt to kill them. Closer to boss higher the ping got. Skills very delayed.

I was at KT4 at the same time you made this post.

The mobs in KT4 wouldn't load for 10-15 seconds, and once they did load, they were un-pullable and un-targettable for another 5-10 seconds. Even then half of them still wouldn't pull. I went to wilds and had the same problem, and went to Summit and had no problem at all. Later in the day I could barely get through Rockhorn. It isn't the maps that are the problem, it's the server. Even when the ping shows green, skills don't work and neither do the mobs.

I am not a fan of exploit-leveling but tried it just because everyone else was. I woke up and had only gotten 1k xp before my Sammy dropped the ball and let me die. So unless STS gets off their butts I'm guessing I'll be one of the only people still at 46 by tomorrow. *sigh* So much for coming back to this game. What a joke.

KT4 is not a for sure bet.... Ping is up and down there just like everywhere else.... There is NO safe haven from this awful ping..... Sometimes the maps run good for a sec but, after awhile it's back to lag, delays, enemies taking seconds to appear..... This is pandemonium...........

I've seen complaints from other players, i.e. don't give the only. Please resolve ID of why I'm spending 70 ankh per day! I can't use POTS, MY SKILLS DO NOT WORK! Not to mention the Incredible amounts of deaths which I got thanks to beautiful:) connection Work It Out! PS: am I the only one who got Only A 60 min Vip combo instead of 2 Vips & a box of 45 keys?

Constant fluctuating ping for me too. Very unplayable. Maybe the mob density is too high in the new levels but I hope they don't get the Tindirin - Wilds treatment.

It was fine for a couple days after the new maps were released, so I doubt it has anything to do with mob density there. It became laggy for me when everyone started hanging in Rockhorn 24/7. That dev obviously did something helpful yesterday and it fine for a while. Now it's back to unplayable.
