For rogue, nox is best mastery. Nox 4/5 with 2,4,5 spec is op with 10/10 mastery, even in pvp. The dot (damage over time) brings a tank down to half hp easily.

Putting 1 point in Nox Bolt mastery skill is useless, unless you just want to increase 1% poison damage.
Normally Nox Bolt does X damage + (2.4x X Damage over 6 seconds or 6 ticks of poison). Each poison tick is roughly 0.4x of the initial damage. Mastery adds seconds and % damage on poison.

1 point - 0 extra ticks, +1% dmg
2 point - 0 extra ticks, +2% dmg
3 point - 1 extra ticks, +3% dmg
4 point - 1 extra ticks, +4% dmg
5 point - 1 extra ticks, +5% dmg (it should been 2 extra ticks)
6 point - 2 extra ticks, +6% dmg
7 point - 2 extra ticks, +7% dmg
8 point - 3 extra ticks, +8% dmg
9 point - 3 extra ticks, +9% dmg
10 point - 3 extra ticks, +10% dmg (it should been 4 extra ticks)
So add either 3, 6 or 8 points in this mastery

Every nox bolt skill is good so put 5/5 in it

I agree with Att that "Other masteries are mostly useless." But Nox mastery seems pretty useless to me also. If you put 10 points into Nox Mastery, if every tick would normally deal say 200 damage, it will only increase by 20 to 220. That's not much more damage. And since Nox has a 2 second cooldown, who cares if it ticks longer? I can shoot it again before the ticks from the first one run out! Is there something I am missing here?

In pvp every second and every damage count. Even small difference can make you win.

i think nox's poison stacks, so the extra ticks wiht nox poison does count.

imo nox better for bosses and i think pvp (i dont pvp)

ur playing styles ur choice , i play elite and glintstone so i choose nox
remember 1/10 is utterly useless truely 10/10 is OP more, use it only if u plan 10/10
