Lost elixir

I spent 20 plat on elixir for 30 min 4x exp... Went to create a game and it never loaded. Had to shut down. There went 20 plat and my elixir. Ummm?? Can I get my plat back?

I was with Fallingstaria and we were planning some major buttkicking. I had spent 20 Plat on a 3x combo elixir as well :( when we tried to host a game it never finished loading... any help would be appreciated :D
