question about platinum....

Ok so, i got an itunes giftcard for $25. I spend like 20 on platinum cuz no new apps interested me nor songs and had to spend it before someone else in my family did... i was wondering if the platinum will be associated with my account so when ios star legends comes out i can use it for that instead of just pl, any help would be cool =)
