HI! A Noobish question !

Dear all fellow birds,

I have just started playing pocket legend. am lv 32 now. first character. May i know what set should i be using now? is it worth investing in sets now or wait till later when i am at least 55?

I have only 120k with me.

You might want a shivering set its good or wait till 45 i have treid getting every nice pink set on every level and i shall not give up
By every level i mean 10-15-20-25-30-35-40-45-50-55-60

IMO, get shivering. There is no helm, so any pink dex helm will do. That will last you until level 41-45, where you should get teh AO2 pinks, they're generally cheap. Shivering seems to always maintain it's value, so I don't think you'll lost much. It does vary by day to day, depending on how many are in the cs, so if you could wait you might get a better deal.

Yeah, and any pink helm as I said. Autobow/Talon&Wing/Shield is really a person's choice, I always liked being right in front dealing the most damage possible, so I stuck with the bow, but your playstyle defines what type you want.

Kite and attack from a range: Autobow
Pure damage: Bow
Defense: Talon and shield. I'm hesitating to say this(might be flamed), but I don't really like talon/shield users. The bow does more damage, and you still have more than enough armor with it. Talons just seem selfish to me.

Lol i only use talons when im in ao3 since the aliens attack alot i get a good defense and so you dont like steeoetype but you stereotyping on talonts and wingers lol jk

Saying that talon + wing people do less damage isn't a stereotype, it's a fact.

Now i am using a epic autocrossbow. Should do me fine. Havent found any good lv 30 bows yet. Yes i realised crossbow have longer range. being a dex bird is not easy at all. very fragile yet high damg class. Btw, which plat map gives the best pink equips? I only have 6 plat . ( gotten by downloading those free aps ! LOL!)

Agreed in general, but Shivering talon is pretty close to Shivering bow when comparing damage. If I remember right you just lose 5 damage at a level 30 char and gain 2 crit. So this is the one set where I find talon wearing birds acceptable :) .

But seriously, with a Shivering set you'll be fine until 45, so it's really worth the investment.

Of course prices change a lot over the time, but I'd guess:

27 Sniper's Penguin Snowcap 1K
30 Shivering Frozen Bow 10 - 15K
30 Shivering Frozen Yeti Leather 25 - 30K

Talon and Wing should be 30 - 35K together, Autobow 20 - 25K...,

I used a shivering talon/wing set with my bird and second bear from 30-45 on each. Very good set. Especially when with teams where you need to watch your own back!

Thanks all for the information. I am still having problems with swamps. My damage to them is very low . despite my attack is 90 - 100 and my dps is 126. Any one here selling shivering leather?

To let you all seasoned birds to understand better , my stats are as followed.

Str : 2
Dex : 196
Int : 1
Hit % = 104
Crit = 13
Dodge = 7
Health = 501
Regen = 4
Mana = 500
Regen= 3
Damage = 90 - 100
DPS = 136
Armour = 38

Maybe i aint skilled with a bird after all. My first Character in pocket legend! lols

To include my equips now .

I use Lv 27 Sniper Penguin Snowcap, lv 30 Shivering bow , lv 34 Swamp Prowler leather of the eagle, am level 35 now. :)

The other problem with you dealing little damage stems from the fact that the enemies in swamps have better armor... as farbas your dps goes, it factors in your min-max damage and skills tok I believe.

Ya get shivering armor, auto crossbow, maybe talon and a purple wing? Also get Lvl 27 penguin snowcap, this is great gear that will last u to 45 (at least)
