Cool... As with all things a healthy balance is required.

I tend to go in peaks and troughs. Not been on PL much recently but enjoying SL beta, OnC and lots of family time.

I'm sure that'll all change once the new updates come out.

Nice find....

Indeed. You should see some of the nasty youtube comments this guy got... Man it makes me loose all hope in my generation. to see such a negative response to a video that is basically recapping a persons life, not telling them video games are "good" or "bad". Just the word of a long time video game player who has realized that video games has made him miss out on a lot of life.

As with all things a healthy balance is required.

I hear ya big time on that one.

I've actually met my finacee through another MMORPG called Maplestory...we now live happily together :p Video games aren't all doom and gloom. It's all about balance, as Redbridge said. I had a lot of stress during college and even now as I work, and video games provide quite a great outlet, if "played" the right way. Video games aren't really a mistake as the author claims per say - it's a hobby. And like any hobby don't let it consume you. (Btw without video games I probably would be spending my money going out to bars to drink...so I'm saving money!)

So your the perfect example that the author was trying to get to! He has other video's about the this video, and he really tries hard to focus on healthy game play. Allowing it to consume your life is were it gets unhealthy.

That went deep. I could say I'm not addicted to games, which is probably true, I spend about 2-4 hours a day on them. However, it certainly makes me want to vomit. I'm also certainly not obese, pretty average, but that made me think of games as I think about smoking. D:

I'm certainly going to take to SL with less vigor. D:
