I think the reason they don't do that is to encourage you to get out and meet new people in towns. If there was an auction in the guildhall, the towns would be empty

Yes exactly no one would go to towns if there's a cs in gh same if there's a cs in kraken mines area, gh is sorta like a hangout for gmates if bored and also like a hospital and Eva is your nurse haha
