What set to buy at lvl 55?

It depends on your playstyle; no simple answer is good for all. I'm not worried about pot consuming on my bird (I'm not using him as regular farmer but more as a killer machine), so I wear RR Recurve as main set, degrading to RR autobow or Talon/Wing if team is not good enough. Sewer's king is not a set (no set bonus), but gives good regen at price of lower damage (and crit); much less expensive, too.

I have a Custom Recurve set, but I prefer it on my Dual Bear - matter of taste, as it was said above. I never tried Death set, some players seem to like it, but it's a 50 set - meh.

As tamino said what you choose depends on what you are going to do with it. I farm sandcaves with my main bird so I prefer sewer king. Low to no consumption of pots. I had death talon set but if you are willing to dish out that much money, go for the raid roach or custom. Just a suggestion but keep asking around.

I'm really enjoying custom set. I use it everywhere now. Downside is you will use mana potions quite a bit, but monsters drop enough so you don't have to buy any.

Death Set- Fooling around
Raid Recurve Set- Very universal set, works on all 3 characters (autobow for mage is a bit better)
Sewer King- Damage sucks, armor sucks, mainly for looks, for birds that are too cheap to use mana pots,

You could just go with underlings and save your gold for the drops that will be coming with the new campaign.

Do what robert7204 said and save your gold. A new campaign is coming out very soon which will pretty much make the current sets obsolete and cheaper.

I was wondering the same thing, weather or not to save up for rr set or buy the cheaper sets, how much do you think the rr custom set will drop to? And another question that Im wondering is, now that new campaign is coming out soon, is it even worth spending 2million on a set when 6 levels later there is a better set for more than that?

I have te set and custom set sewer king set also main set is crr. Sewer Kong I never use it all drops till I got set ... I don't have much money like 150 k only o have lots of pink to sell anyone want to buy . I'm looking for death set ... archer 56

Elite campaign gear seem to hold their value and actually rises over time. I remember 3 months ago, Sent Helm cost about 30k then rose to 100k now.

I would suggest using what you already have and don't worry about other people and their fancy gear. You will get lucky with drops and that's more than enough to get your desired items.

For my archer, I have 2 setups.
Defensive/Random team: Str Crown, Drain Talon, Underling Wing, Drainer Leather, 2% Dodge 8 Armour Ring
Dodge: 19
H/s: 24
M/s: 3
Armour: 144

If you have the money, custom recurve is considered the best set for most situations.

That's true too. Pinks are a lot of money for a marginally better performance. With the level cap coming, perhaps Custom and RR are not worth the money, unless you get a really good deal.

Well i say go with custom set if u have 2 mil, custom set bounses adds total much better than r r set. Go check in traders market, The Thread about sewer king drops and crafting. It says inside about the bonuses stats gives. And u can compare r r set and custom set in there.

Sewer King set isnt bad just cause it doesnt give a set bonus. You still get 6% crit only 4 less then rr or custom and you get the same amount of armor and dmg not countin the small amount for the set bonus. Try Mixing and matching you might find a setup to your like. I switch between a Custom Recurve set and a Sewer King set with a custom crown depending on what Im doing.

You don't know I'd the set prices will drop once update hits. Maybe, for example, the new archer gear will be totally opposite of custom with no crit but some other high stats. Custom ill still be in demand.
