lol, nah, im not that experienced yet to know who's the "best" non dev player, yet. I think it all comes down to what you mean in terms of being the best.

Seriously, we each have different goals. How can there be only one "best" when there are multiple objectives? Lone, for instance, was a great serious player, but did not really do well in social games. We got along because neither of us talked much during play. Lovenus, on the other hand, was a master at k/d ratios, but made an unwise choice during a trade and was unfairly called a scammer. Another example would be Royce, who was a great person to go to if you had a question, but he refused to rush. Apollo, on the other hand, was a master of the rush and he lead many farming groups before the nerf. Yanis... you only have to say his name to almost complete the sentence. He is obviously the greatest merchant. I have a lot of PvE twinks, but I still have yet to reach 1 million gp after more than a year.

These are just a few examples of people who have different goals.

YOU, however, might at any moment be the greatest player, but only moments later you can become the worst player. All you have to do is accidentally target a barrel next to the party mage to revert to dufus status.

There is no "best" player, just like there is no "best" car, "best" team, whatever....people know what they like or who they like, but there a ton of great players who are good at certain things or aspects of the games and there is no way to compare those different angles of the game(s).

IMO everyone in my friend list, are the 'best players'.
They are nice to talk with, good to have serious runs with ect.
I know there are more players that fit that description but i didnt had the pleasure to meet you yet!

The best pl players in my view are the ones who have taught, had good team work, sportsmanship, givers, and know how to run their charecters, there have been many ! Cheers to all you who know that this has been you. It is these players who have brought pl to life and continue to do so..

:) agreed! I remember one character who took us through AOIII when it first came out. All of us were struggling an then he popped in and took us through, pulled the whole group together and it was fun.

And there those players who just give you things for no reason. And then you give things to the noobs for no reason :) I think the best player, who's name I'll never remember, is the one who doesn't take themselves too seriously, and who wants everyone to have fun.
