Platinum Elixirs + Gold Fever's fever = Instant Death, still

This bug still hasn't been addressed since I first put up a thread (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?20177-Gold-Fever-Trash-Can-Punch-Instant-Death). I took the free 15 minute elixir and when I got Fevered, I got instantly killed. I wasn't near Gold Fever or anyone else - which doesn't make sense considering I had 3x armor. I think any elixir that augments your damage gets you instantly killed when Fevered.

I thought if u destroyed green orb on chest before u pop then u wont die.

Nope. Orb or no, if you've combo potted, you pretty much always die. The only save I've found is on my mage--if I can activate mana shield in time, I don't die. My poor birdies, tho.... :(
