Why not? They are extremely helpful. Moreso then other people I have seen. If you scroll in their post history, for the majority of them at least 1/5-2/5 posts will be helpful, encouraging, inviting, not to mention nice. This fits the criteria needed for Guardians very well :).

Some random people in game however have 3/5-4/5 of their chat filled with helpful stuff. IMO, people here are mentioned because they are known; too many people in game aren't known.

Hate the people like that. "I'm the BEST person for GOA, please pick me." Then I have to explain to them, I can't "pick" them, only give out recommendations. Even then if I feel they are not the right person to be recommended, I will blatantly tell them, providing them with reasons of course. Although, I have noticed, I get tons more questions when wearing my PL shield?

Voting will not help I think...the devs look for people who help on forums and maybe even in-game but devs surely do not pick guardians with people just voting for there friends that helped them. Even though most people are helpful devs pick the most helpful. Snakespears post says it all but devs pick people who help the community of pl. The best way to become a guardian is to be yourself just help people I guess and don't do useless posts and don't try to ever bribe devs for goa. Or you might get banned or something idk what happens but its sure you won't get to be a goa.
