As title said, I was thinking, if Sts could update Keys to be use for changing IGN or Pet Name (As it was used as the sub of plats in opening locks, So maybe we can also use it to change name as well coz we use Platinums too to change our IGN/s).
But the twist is, you can only change your name by Crate Keys for once only. And for pet, I don't know.
30 Keys for change name (Just like Platinums)
and 2 Keys for Pet Name
What do you think? Is it a bad idea or good? :)

Yes on the pet name; No for the IGN - Scammers will scam, then change name, rinse and repeat.
Having the ability to change your name once is pretty limited and will essentially kill the market for these anyways :(

Yea, kinda limited. But ofc they can also use it for opening locks if they want to.
For Scammers, hmm..I guess too that they will really change their names immediately. And sts must have their past names and can detect them.

I forgot to add that if they will change their names / pet names, it must be also the same like when u use plats.
Example:
30 Plats for Change Name then it should be 30 Keys too for changing name.

Shouldn't be not keys? Because that feature would ruin its name("Keys") lol.

Can. But I guess that would be just a trash in auc if ever players bought many in store and sell it. Why? Not all will buy those. And you can only use it once so that scammers wont change and change their names (Just if sts will update it)
At least, if crate keys or keys, u can use it to open locks and change name :3
another thing crate keys are designed to be used to open locks and if your lucky you may also loot plats too so it's a win-win :)
