Statesman.com, the electronic version of The Austin American Statesman Newspaper, recently published an article about the Austin gaming industry that included images and commentary from Spacetime Studios. The article centers around publisher Electronic Arts announcing it's intent to expand their Austin based teams by more than 300 positions. Commentary by Spacetime can be found on page 3. The game [Pocket Legends] carved out a niche in the growing smartphone market and has been downloaded almost 5 million times. Ironically, the technology used to create the game was developed for a large-scale project with NCsoft that was later canceled.
