1) I hit only air sometimes due to lag or just didn't expect an enemy to go down as fast as they did.
2) Resurrect also has a hidden buff, so using it even though no one is dead isn't a big deal.
3) I almost never reply to a pm, especially if they player isn't on my friend list.
4) Following others isn't a necessary part of the game, I go off on my own sometimes to clear a map or just to get some solo kills.

Almost all of these could be explained by a huge lag spike or frequent lag spikes; sometimes lagging can force your toon to run into walls or spam skills out of time because you're pressing buttons without an actual sense of where your toon is. There is no real way to tell if someone is botting without following them for multiple instances and making a video; if the runs were exact then one could conclude that it is a bot. Players create the same maps and run them in a certain pattern all the time, so that isn't enough to say they're botting. The timing would have to be exact as well as movement and number of attacks/skill combinations. Asking for a ban over something that is pure speculation is a pretty bold move imo, all you can do is report with an explanation and have the devs look into it.

Regarding points 3 and 4--I've been in maps where somebody went off merrily on their own and said nothing to anyone, even in reply to PM's and public chat. They were, however, very quick to scream "REZZ MEEEE!" when they died. On the other side of the map. :rolleyes:

Gluttony is right. There are plenty of players who do not reply to messages or stay in a group and wander off. I some times rapidly fire bolts even after the enemy is dead, but I really don't no why. Bad habit I guess? :)

I have no idea who would put time into coding a macro for this game into the iPhone, and I've yet to see someone make a bot for anything on the iPhone actually. Who's that
desperate for leveling up that they'll make a bot? xD Also, maybe he's muted or antisocial.

But he gets up if someone rezzes him? Not respawning doesn't mean he's a bot; just means he's lazy. :) I've seen people lay on the floor 30 feet from the respawn point and wait forever for someone to rezz them.

If it was indeed a botter, why were they running around in that area in the first place? A botter would try to gain xp by running the same instance over and over in a pattern that would be productive to them in some way. Personally, if I were to create a botting program to use in PL it would create a locked game and it would run the same room then remake. Sounds like what you saw was someone who was having issues staying connected, I don't actually see anything that would lead me to believe that there was any violation nor do your explanations change my mind.

this is the first i've heard of "bottting". could someone provide a little insight on what it is exactly and how people do it? i'm assuming its somehow programing your iphone/ipad to automatically farm levels and auto remake, like some sort of script?

Anyway, for those who had ping/lag issue with lil freeze this is probably how ur toons react to losin control... deaf, blind, crazy, hyper... :)
