Today I tested the new gold tier pet with some of my guildies in PvP , and what I noticed is that it does not reduce mana at all . Even standing without movement and shield in the toxic zone didn't decrease even 1% of mana. Is this a bug or i just don't understand something ? The pet is clearly made for PvP , and without its 10% mana drain in can be considered useless.

What level was Korruption when you tried? Pet aa is sometimes level-dependent.

It was lvl25 .. Probably that's the case.

I don't think an AA should be level dependant, because then it would be useless for twinks. It probably is bugged if it's not doing a single bit of mana consumption considering yours isn't just Level 1.

Would you want pets with damaging pools like sns to take out 20-25% of your HP in a single half second tick? Because at end game sns does about 500 damage per tick.

I understand it can go the other way around and end game can be scaled to twink levels, but let's face it, most updates are meant for end game, and in all likelihood end game will set the standard for pet damage.

We think there is an issue with this, thank you for calling it to our attention. We'll fix it with today's hotfix.

Did you not read that it was doing nothing? Or that that person's pet was level 25? I get the fact that it won't do 10% at lower levels, it also says "UP TO 10%" but the fact is JustG just said there's an issue, so it's not even a level problem.

If the OP's toon was lvl56 and the pet was lvl25, and he was testing it on fellow endgame PvP players, then I would full expect the AA to do nothing, just as an under-levelled Nekro does nothing in terms of the damage reduction from it's shield. However, if he was referring to a Lvl25 pet doing nothing to a lvl25 toon in a PvP room of the appropriate level bracket, then fully agreed the pet needs a relook. I don't think the OP stated this çlearly in his post.
