i think the only way would be sitting closer to ur hub/router or plugging ur device into ur hub/router if it has usb ports
that way u stay charged and get the best connection possible :)

well... this seemed to work for me. I went to youtube and searched 'how to conncect better with wifi connection' and it showed me to put aluminum foil on the antennas thats connected to my box. works better and cleaner than before. There may be other ways that you will have to discover on your own... or some help :)

The aluminum goes on your head silly...

At home, I'm on wifi. Ping stays about 80. Save for cretins sewer runs with lots of fires and a huge train. 3G I think I'm like 150 but it jumps also. Make sure you don't have 20 background apps running too.

At home, if it's your wifi, know what's accessing the network. If you've got a lot eating up your bandwidth you will get ping spikes or steady high ping. (My husbands phone alone is set to check for emails on idk 5 accounts every minute = lag... So I change his settings, shh)

Do you know how to go into your router and see what's connected? You can do that and might remember something that was left on you forgot, like a ps3.

Also be sure to clear your browser history and I find it helps to shut my phone OFF and turn it back on, instead of just sleep mode or what not.

I play 3g on my phone and I get no lag wen the 3g connection is never bad and the phone signal is perfect. I get a little lag here or there. But when I get a lag when im in battle I just stop moving and spam all my skills and health pots. I die once or twice in a lag. But if u can't get rid of the lag just adapt to it. That's wat I did

Try increasing your brightness a bit. With low brightness, your device will think that you are trying to save battery and will lower the connection.

It might also be other applications on your phone that are using the wi-fi as well, try closing all other apps while playing.

have as little applications running in background

if u have wifi be as close to the point as possible

have no music other than the game music which shouldnt really matter

turn high quality off

and make sure there is 0% battery saver

hope this helped ;)

Bandwidth bandwidth bandwidth !

If you got(for example in my house) 2 iPhones, a wii, xbox360, VoIP, 2 dsi, psp, 2 lap tops - just being ON they are eating into your Internet. Secretly disconnect or shut everything off and hoard the net for yourself and watch ping go down! :D

lol instead of secretly disconnecting everyone, once i changed the password and settings on my router and nobody in my house could figure out why they couldnt get online.
my ping was like 80

Also try turning off push notifications for other apps and for email...if your phone gets a push message from an app, it can cause big lag spikes.

I also found that on my iphone that if I turned my 3G off when playing on wifi that my ping stayed generally lower.

Having your phone plugged into your computer has absolutely zero to do with ping. In theory, it would actually slow your phone down as your phone communicates with your computer in the background and takes a little memory up on the phone.

I have the same problem. Even if only the TV is running and I am using my phone, my Ping always remains near 300 o.O:mad:

Sometimes a restart of my phone works wonders, but sometimes I want to punch my ping in the mouth as hard as I can.

When I get lagged I play right by my wifi router and then ping goes down to around 100

I play near my router but still it remains pretty high. Does it make a difference if I live in India? I have tried restarting but sigh... A  for anyone who helps :D
