Is anyone aware of a known problem with Netgear wireless and iPhone. I've get kicked off so often that I am seriously considering tossing it and getting something else. Strangely, I had no problem for about ten days before it started acting up again.

So, the questions are:

Any known problems with Netgear & iPhone?

Anyone care to comment on Apple Airport Extreme as a replacement? (it's expensive)

I hate netgear. It cuts off frequently with all of my devices.

I had this problem with my iPod at my sister's house. They have a netgear router. A pattern is emerging. I don't think you have to go to an airport necessarily. I have never had this problem with my cheap linksys router.

FYI anyone with the same problem. I replaced the router with a Cisco Valet Plus, expensive but less than Apple Airport Extreme. Works just fine.

the airport express is $100 and works just fine. and you can hook it up to your stereo to wirelessly stream music.

The house has five levels (!!!) and Cisco promised an extended range. I will say everyone I spoke to in the stores said Airport was best. If the Cisco didn't work well, I would have returned it immediately and gotten the Airport. Funny tho, two of the three CPUs in the house are Macs.
