Goblin Event Extension:


We are extending the Goblin event one day. Instead of ending with this publish, it will end on Friday, 5/20/16 at 1:30 pm Central Time. Cooldown also pushes one day to end on Saturday, 5/21/16 at 1:30 pm Central Time.

We've added the ability to save out a loadout of your favorite attribute and skill specifications. It will consume a respec scroll or 5 plat.

This week bosses will drop Respec Scrolls, so do your hunting and take advantage of the new Skill Loadouts system!

Money Cannon


This weekend only, instead of the usual 500 plat for 500K gold, for an additional 5 plat you can make it rain for your friends! The Money Cannon is similar to the Candy Bomb or Birthday Cake. When opened, a huge cannon drops to the ground and then explodes, showering 5 of your closest friends with somewhere between 2,500 and 10,000 gold each. You still receive the 500K gold, because hey, you're paying for this party!

What is this system to load skill? I have to spend to change pvp to pve, and have to spend to delete and save the new skill.
Only accelerates the speed to reset my skills. Not seen anyone complain about it.


One of the old complaints was to exchange skills without having either go to the menu. As shown in the image below. But this idea was lost in limbo.

It is no joke spending the big amount of platinum on 500k gold which personally i dont think is worth it there is no rarity to match the 500 plat spent .. i.e exquisite gem or super rarity item to spend on it

I read the skill loadouts were made to save time, but you could still do it the old fashioned way or something, but you can't remap skills anymore, what's the reason for removing this feature?

Thanks for the Goblin event; my guild and I enjoyed it and made a fair profit out of it. I love that bosses dropped massive glintergild chests and Gyrm eggs; I looted some of them. I love Korruption on my low level alts. I finally got my warrior gear decked in higher tier fury jewels thanks to the Jewel Chests and the running around to search for altars and farm energy essences. I think the Pestilence hauberk's color combo is elegant and wish it were a vanity. My favorite part was of course the guild-wide organized altar hunt, though this was severely curtailed after the hotfix. But overall I'm satisfied with the event.

For future energy-based event (Ursoth? Though I really much prefer a wholly fresh innovative event), please review and restructure the special (bonus) map scheme: how it is accessed, cost for entry, and reward. The fact that each access cost three energy kits will make people think before spending, especially in terms of who they want to share the bonus map with and whether they can recoup the cost. This is the root of all the exploits. The existing scheme also opens the possibility of people just waiting for free rides, which IMO isn't fair to people who buy energy kits to craft relic.

Furthermore, I think a more precise system should be devised to identify and cull cheaters from people who play within the boundaries of game mechanic. I don't know how complex this might be from the backstage side of things but what happened this event indicated to me that from your side it wasn't always evident who was really cheating and who was playing normally, otherwise noone would have been wrongfully banned. STS holds the only hard proof of any TOS violation and this data should be rock solid to back up any potentially controversial decisions like banning. I hope to see better integrity and consistency in terms of basis for decisions in future.

Unless you are Donald Trump, the concept of the Money Cannon is just an illogical waste of platinum! In order for me to even contemplate spending 500 platinum to get a measly 500k gold that darn Cannon better shoot out an exquisite jewel or 2 specific to my character xD
