OK so this has been bugging me for a while. Why is the "new" gear from the event chests of lower quality than previous gear.

And i was hoping to pull a few of the pandemic items when i realised that they have significantly lowered armour.

Why? In my bracket we're still rocking icescale, epidemic and tarlok..

I'm going to be making a post asking STS why they are regressing twink gear overall. All the gear in this year's chests was nerfed compared to from last year's goblin event AND gear from other recent events has not had progression either.

Why are we seeing gear regression for twinks?? This creates an imbalance that unfairly favors veteran players!

check yourself on saying the gear from last year's goblin event was nerfed. I just checked an epidemic mage helm from last year and its still the same

Thanks for the catch... I corrected my post. I meant this year's gear is "nerfed" compared to last year.

Wow this is pretty weird. +1 on that statement about modern twink gear being far less favorable than the gear of the veteran days.
