1. This area is not avaiable from the world map, so you can't start a new one if the one you are dropped into is messed up.

2. When I got there the crate was already open and I couldn't open it and the door was already closed so I could not gain access to the console. I'm pretty sure the bad guy was already dead too, but the quest to kill the bad guy was not completed.

3. This area should not be shared. You should be in the tutorial area alone otherwise you miss out on the lessons.

Sounds like you joined a tutorial on how to be faster on the trigger finger...and you failed :(

This might have been part of the bug where tutorial maps were joinable, and you got dumped into somebody's completed level. Everything should be fine now since they fixed that, and these won't be shared.

For future reference if something does bug, to reset the tutorial without using Exit Map or remaking is to stop the app manually. And no, you cannot farm tutorial endlessly by redoing it. It drops you into Blackstar alas soon as you're level 2 the next time you login. Believe me I tried. Wanted to start at level 3 with some skill points, but couldn't. You can still be close to level 2 and then exit at 1.99 so you level up from handing in quests and are a bit ahead of other people.
