I was look through the consignment shop and I realized that the weapon with the most strengh, required 173 str.
If you raise your str stats over 173 str, will it really do anything to your character? Does it raise ur health, or mana, or hit %, etc....?

It will raise your health and damage with the bears skills.

For a bear, an increase in strength points will increase dodge, crit, health/health regen, armor, and skill damage. For more detailed answers, please check out the guides in the "Warrior" section of the forums.

Here are exact numbers:
What 1 point of each stat will do:
1 point of DEX = +0.167 hit%, +0.032 crit, +0.0125 dodge, +0.01 h/s, +0.15 damage, +0.125 DPS
1 point of INT = +0.1 hit%, +0.02 crit, +0.005 dodge, +0.005 h/s, +0.02 m/s, +0.08 damage, +0.067 DPS
1 point of STR = +0.03 crit, +0.025 dodge, +0.02 h/s, +0.02 damage, +0.0167 DPS
