I respecced early on (level 5) to
0 Wither
0 Leech
4 Feedback

Level up (level 6), Revive available. Result:
1 Wither
0 Leech
4 Feedback
0 Revive

Next one, level 7
1 Wither
1 Leech
4 Feedback
0 Revive

I did *not* put that point into Wither or Leech, the game did!
Since respec costs Platinum this kinda sucks :/

***Update: Next level, same picture. Seems like empty skill slots are filled before one has points for choices. This is not intended, I hope.

Why would you respec early without unlocking all the available skills first...? That's just a waste

Because
1)
Both Wither and Feedback are rather useless with only 1 rank. Those two point do much better when placed in empathy imho.

2)
It nowhere said: ''If you don't take Wither, we'll make you!''

3)
After unlocking the thrird skill, no points are alloocated automatically - well, at least if you did not respec.

4)
Its beta, I tried something :)

This is likely happening because Wither and Leech are both Skills that are supposed to start with 1 skill point allocated when unlocked. If so, you are essentially using an exploit to gain access to the skill points that would normally be assigned to Wither and Leech at their lowest level. The program is most likely correcting what it sees as a problem being caused by Wither and Leech falling below their minimum of 1 assigned skill point each.

If you want to keep Wither and Leech at level 0, you will have to reach the level cap and then respec your skill points. You will then have to respec each time the level cap is raised. Either that, or be content with them each at level 1.

@thequickone:
Your solution would be a workaround. Perfectly inacceptable for a feature called respec.

IF it is intended behavior it's bad usability because of missing feedback and a certain lack of consistency.

This is poor behavior. I'll look into what we can do about it.
