what should i do with a 35 mage???

ive done voodo and want to try summin else anyone got suggstions, ive got about 4 months experience in pvp so dont need treatment like someone who has no clue, i just want some suggestions any ideas are welcome.

Vodoo is best you can have at 35; I wouldn't suggest it as a new buy because of cost, but you have it yet, so nothing more to say. If you plan to level up, you can found something better at 45 and at 50, if not, nvm.

would you like me to repeat? i said ive go a voodo, i just want to know if i should pick dex or str mage, what r the pros ans cons of each spec, should i have all str gear with a int wand? or all str with dexd talon? i want to know what is the second best option after voodo.

Str Mage-
Pros: High Armor which boosts survivability
Cons: You loose your range and you get barely any M/S (Unless it has a set bonus, but would still be very small)

Dex Mage-
Pros: Longest range out of all classes, high dps
Cons: Again, barely any M/S unless a set has a set bonus


And for the str gear with wand and str with dex talon, you would need to boost to do dual spec to begin with and I dont think you can equip items your lvl with different requirements Ex. At lv 35, You cant equip a voodoo doll and a copperhead pitchfork, at least i dont think you cant.

no u cant but would the surviabilty of all str gear apart from wand be worth the sacrifice of skill dmg, hit and ms? that will help me make my descision, and even then imo ice berg is better then all the str armours at 35 so i wouldnt care if i counldnt

No, sacrificing dmg for armor is not a good idea. No point in having like 10 higher armor when most good mages can kill you in 1 sec. Its either kill first or be killed.

If you are looking for an alternative to voodoo i would suggest going 2h iceberg longsword pally.

Your skill dmg goes up a lot, and ur burst dmg is very high, only bad thing is if you get kited... Ur screwed.

Dex mage isnt too good imo.

And as for your pally build, you can either do: min str, rest int. Or min str, rest dex.
Idk why people use the str-dex build, but it seems to work pretty well.

idk why people use the str-dex build cos of the large amout of hit you get with it, also int wont realy help you when ur pally, low hit and wont realy change your skill dmg cos thats what the sword does i think

try pally with iceberg longsword black is better i think even though i havent done quest or try copperheads set

i have thats y i want to know if dex mage would be any gd.

idk about that skill dmg wont be as high as with sword, i might as well use iceberg plate and shield, vyx helm and voodo wand. will have roughly same armour better regen plus a ranged auto atck.

but what i would like to know is, is the iceberg vyx and voodo set up worth the loss of skill dmg for the armour? its just means ill survive their first combo but i wont get them with mine either. so is the armour worth (20+ wat i would have as int) be worth the sacrifice of some skill dmg regen and hit? or should i try dex mage and sorta kite them with auto bow?
