I have read people say about skill trees and I think that would be cool. So I had an I an idea if skill trees are too much why not give a different skill depending on what points you have set. Its about mixing the three class points and I think it woutld be an awesome addition and everyone wouldn't have the same skills and therefore be different offering greater customization.
Eg.

Say we have 30 points to set

Str 10
Dex 10
Int 10

You would learn a new skill
But
If you set

Str 15
Dex 10
Int 5

You would get a different skill based on your configuration of points.

Its kinda hard to explain lol

What do you guys think?

So you're trying to go like...the official RPG way like in platform rpgs. Reminds me of this game "Sonny" and "Sonny 2" from armor games. Putting points into different skills allows you to unlock other skill paths, and you cant unlock certain skills without first unlocking skills before it. I'm all for this idea because it adds a great deal of customization, although I feel it's better in turn-based combat games.

ALTHOUGH these games I played for Xbox 360 called "Tales of Vesperia" and "Infinite Undiscovery" both had elements like this and they weren't turn based. I quite enjoyed both of those games too
