will there be a wipe before full release?

if so whats the point of spending any plat right now? (premium character)
even tho its a good deal

Only the leaderboards will be wiped (kills and deaths) we will get to keep all gear and levels we have

I was also wondering that but I had also posted a topic and found out answer. I'm glad cuz I have tons of deaths.
