What's the strategy to kill elite cryostar boss?

Tried more than hour but still not successful. Really challenging boss.

Also rogues use drag dags. And also all the buffs u can get.

We killed it finally you will need all the buffs and alot of ankhs and when he is low health use revenge until you kill him.

This boss is just too hard to beat without a good pt. I have also gone through 50+ ankhs running with pugs.
The only thing I can think of is a war & mage dealing with mobs on one side while two rogues attk the cryo from the other side. Unfortunately making pugs listen is beyond this world.

Just get close to the boss(Rogue) and spam skills... If the boss is like 25% hp kill the healing orb that will appear.. And if the boss is about to die, prepare to spam your skills and hp pots quickly.

It's clear that the best strategy involves you and your party spamming revenge buffs after inevitably being overwhelmed and 1 shot by mobs.

The faster u drop the cryo bosses health the faster he spawns mobs. From my expericence it is not always the best to kill him fast.i have found that if i auto attack enough and get my dragon hunter staff to proc on the boss he loses health much to quickly and then begins to spam his mobs like crazy.slow nd steady wins the race!

Guys...do we remember pt1 boss....the crystal of cryo boss is same as fireball in pt1..so if u stun it using good stun pet ...when it shines....u get rid of electric spark it is giving....this helps a lot in getting hold on crystal...pls do try n let me know if this works for u...ty

Try focusing on the mobs instead. Attack the Cryostar when no mobs/few mobs are left. Keep spawning SnS pools and Nekro shield. Defeated Elite Cryostar with 1 Warrior, 2 Rogues, and 1 Mage. Usage of Damage Elixirs, Damage Reduction Elixirs, and ankhs are expected.

Use this tip to defeat Elite boss in under 15 mins.
