We were looking for people to run with tonight but no one was on. Said what the heck, let's 2 man dimensional lix this for fun... and poof there it is, half a years work with 14 minutes left on the lix timer XD Neither of us got the specific class we wanted and only 1 popped out for us each, so will still run it with you guys! Thank you, and a great extended thanks for swapping with me! It's crazy how rare this portal was and still we need to roll the dice to get the one we want! Allthough a little late, it feels like we finally graduated from some long winded class together xD hopefully the weaponsss will be sweet!

I've ran this map countless times before and after the current rate buff, and it really felt like the portal didn't exist. A full team of 4 popping expensive lix and no spawns were very disheartening. At least the lix now lasts 30 instead of 5 minutes and fangs are 2k vs the 15 back then. Overall it's still more of a money pit than a portal to a rainbow with a pot of gold.

Thanks Vroom! The spawn rate is still extremely rare. Since the update, out of the hundreds of runs this was the first time spawning. I'm guesstimating the rate is around 1/1000, with 4 players around 1 in 250 runs!

I looted the Spryness amulet (DEX/INT) so I guess it would be a little better with INT/STR, but it doesn't matter much. Even with the set bonus the armor stat doesn't compare with new gear (3.1k with Banished set vs 4.5k with Level 61 gear).

Glad to know that there's still someone. I've started this game just a few months ago and I thought I won't find anybody for this amulet quest as people seldom bother with this questline now. Btw, I doubt that we know each other as you're not in my friendlist; I'm sending a friend request now.

Finally got the amulet and the raw cryostar core for armor. I couldn't loot them even though I tried many times. And I also kept an eye out for them in CS for months. Finally someone put up the cryostar core yesterday and coincidentally another person put up the amulet today. Now I can finally finish this damned quest line and have some peace of mind. Thanks Ardbeg for the guide.

Congrtaz On set. i only looted amulet after 8 months long run. Tried for raw cryostar for months never looted it(Even i was in position to buy one from auc). Frustrated Sold all the other stuff and never finished it. Still regret not finishing it after doing those long many runs for set hunt.

Lol, I sold the other stuff too. Then I was in a bind when I found out that the whole set is needed to turn in the last quest. I did the helmet quest again, bought another belt, but there was no ring. Luckily I found a friend who has a ring and he agreed to let me borrow it. And now I've officially finished this frustrating quest line and finally at peace. :D

The quest to charge the Dragon Infused Helm is easy and quickly done:

In fact, there is a daily quest that lets you retry for another type of the helm (without adding new materials). The helm is not tradable for a reason, but everyone who is unhappy with the armor type he rolled, can get the best helm to complement it. Since i have dex and crit on my armor as secondary stats, i go for the Helm of Iron Will with damage and int. This leaves me with a perfect mix of stats. Great design!

It would be nice if original poster would alter the first post to say equip the hat to collect the energy to charge it. There is no quest in quest list for this charging part of the quest series and no instructions in game to equip the hat. If you don't equip the hat to kill the mobs in elite Underhul- you're just stuck in Banished limbo. Luckily a friend told me right away!
