So i started the quest today after i got my hands on the missing belt.
(I have the rogue version and happily trade it for the warrior one).

This is the first task from Rasser after defeating Elite Gearloose:

I can answer this one for you. The Complete Antignome Set is only needed for "Evidence of Forbidden Technology". After this point you should still hold onto the set, as Banished Power is only better when you equip all the pieces, but if you feel you no longer need the Antignome Set you can sell it or trade it to friends to help them on their way to Banished Power :)

Update: After i acquired the Banished Ring, this is how the quest continues (yes, the fourth item is the helm):

The quest to charge the Dragon Infused Helm is easy and quickly done:

In fact, there is a daily quest that lets you retry for another type of the helm (without adding new materials). The helm is not tradable for a reason, but everyone who is unhappy with the armor type he rolled, can get the best helm to complement it. Since i have dex and crit on my armor as secondary stats, i go for the Helm of Iron Will with damage and int. This leaves me with a perfect mix of stats. Great design!

Now to the new stuff: The last piece, the pendant seems to be in another dimension. This makes looting it a bit of a hazzle:

Yes, you can see all stats in the Elite Golden Heretic Chest loot info.
Only Helms and Armor have different stat types.

Please keep in mind that this is pve only and limited to Underhuul too, so f.e. on Rengol maps there is no set bonus. What i am saying is, the Antignome set alone gives plenty of survivability, the Banished set is surly way better, but mostly for the bragging rights imho.

I'm confused, how isn't that seen as a problem? How long has this expansion been out for and the op is possibly the only person in the entire game with the full antignome set.I just don't understand why the rarity had to be made to such an extreme, essentially impossibly for anyone who isn't in the %1 of the %1 as far as in-game wealth goes to obtain. And If ur even contemplating about trying to loot it all yourself..pfft u have a better chance at getting struck by lighting , and even those who do loot end up getting undesirable pieces . Imo it's very discouraging for a lot of end game farmers

I don't think it's a random encounter. After all it shouldn'tbe something we spawn after the need for it comes. Unless it's the Room of Requirement.

Maybe it's in one of the rengol maps(I'm guessing you've scourged all the Underhul maps.).

It says clearly in Elite Forgotten Citadel in the quest.

Buwahaha, actually, i think i opened around 300 heretic chests (and considered myself lucky because i looted the tank version), just before the amulet got tradable and i could have bought it for a fraction.

We live in Elite Hugal and enjoy it, but aside from his axe trophy i got nothing. Just to make that clear: i love items/sets of the highest rarity which serve as a long time motivation to run maps as long as there are real things to loot too. That being said a slightly buff is needed imho. I am comfy with what i have, but too many people gave up on the season already.

it is really interesting to follow, couldn't agree more... but don't you think the drop rate is way too low? our team killed almost 80 elite cryostar after it got counted as an elite boss, and 3-4 times more before it got counted... team only looted 1 raw cryostar core (and 1 totem, 2-3 recipes)... i think the average gameplay-time needed to farm this set is way too ridiculous, please reconsider for it, thank you...

This last piece seems extremely hard to get....You essentially need 26 hours time to craft the dimentional potion that only last 5 mins that is harsh. Their has to be a better way lol.

No, the potion is added to your crafting menu. It costs 15 orc fangs and a day of crafting. And you need to kill elite jadis only once for the quest, after that you can freely enter (but don't need in order to craft potions).

This is the information i am trying to transport with my thread. The antignome set has already beastly stats and (even if it is out of reach for most) can be bought. The Banished set is a big investment (no one can loot it completely) but most likely will leave you incomplete with less stats. Here's my opinion:

I use 3 banished and 2 antignome parts (i have 4 banished). The two buffs are already good. Holding extra parts to complete antignome would cost me around 30m.
Good enough for me, i gamble on getting the banished set.

I don't care if it needs 20 or a bazillion runs to get the last part, i just need to know it s there and that makes my runs exciting. So far i had 2 attempts on the amulet, mostly because i focus on running with friends and we see what's the best we can get with the party online. The way i see it, the banished set was never designed to be in reach for everyone, but to add a great loot chance and excitement factor to everyones run (in fact bigger than everything you can loot from crates and that s a good thing). I will follow up the quest, but i enjoy whats here.

No, that would defeat the purpose of a set. I do 3 Banished / 2 Antignome items now, so i get two different buffs. But they don t add up to the power of either one full set buff.

Loving this thread ... this is proper end gamers challenge, and end gamers need something to really get our teeth into in order for us to remain excited about the game. i wouldnt say this thread contains spoilers as ardbeg intent is true to form and illustrates both the mighty challenge and the ultimate rewards, we are lucky to witness its development. This quest is probably nothing i myself and many others will be able to achieve .. so for me personally im enjoying this threads development and on some small way be a part of the process. When the portal spawns, every player who has a Dimensional Bridge Potion active can reach into the dimension and retrieve a Banished Power piece. This means if you can get 4 players to run together all with the Dimensional Bridge Potion, you have 4x the chance for the Dimensional Bridge to spawn, and all 4 of you would receive a Banished Power Piece. ;)

Hi msustro, the last part of the banished set we' re hunting now drops from the boss in elite Misty Grotto. You have no Antignome set bonus there (and it is not needed anyway). But the Dimensional Bridge Potion is needed, in the best case for all party members to maximise the chances and return of investment for all. So far we craft for us, craft for some guildies and friends and sell some to refinance this.

Hard to estimate, we had only a handful of drops for months in the whole game.
The map is in fact much easier now after the awakening event. Make sure to use a weapon with good hp/armor buffs and use pets like breeze, swift and kelvin for the arcane ability and maybe nightshade for the happiness bonus.

I still need the amulet.
For the Banished set you need to craft the armor and the infused helm, you can find the ingredients in your crafting station. Other than that the script , ring and belt you have to farm, and for the last piece you need a ton of orc fangs.

For the helm there is the daily Power of dragons II quest, to craft another version. But you have to stick with the Armor you get.
I complemented the helm to the armor in a way, that i have every stat present.

Yes. The quest is a daily that resets every day with the other usual daily quests. You have to go to the secret lab to get it from the NPC every time you want to do it again. So you have to run Elite Forgotten Citadel every time you want to do the quest.

To roll the dimensional bridge is the challenge! Many have been trying for months and no luck. It's the final piece for many.

If you can somehow get your hands on a Banished Power Ring, and move on to the helm part of the quest, the Banished Power Helm is superior to the Antignome Helm (if you compare helms of the same type e.g. Runesteel to Runesteel). The helm quest is troublesome but not difficult to complete. The armor does not require the Banished quest to craft, but is extremely troublesome/costly to complete especially if you want the best type for your toon. The belt is currently the easiest part of the Banished set to acquire.

Why I am pointing this out is because in Underhul, the speed set can be combined with the Banished helm, armor and belt to give the most effective gear combination in terms of speed and survivability (as 3/5 of the full Banished set still gives a considerable buff). Instead of going for the amulet and the full set, perhaps you could consider investing some effort into obtaining part of the set like what I mentioned. Even if not interested in that, the Banished helm and armor are the best possible gear for their respective categories in endgame at this point.

There is no Elixir needed, but since it is a boss drop, i think Boss Double Loot Elixier would help.

The quest is called "Power of Dragons II" and resets each day at the same time. All you have to do is visit the secret lab to get it again.

As a longtime supporter of sts i am asking myself whats the reasoning behind this. Could it only be nonexistent or free for all who are here in time for the glitch? Is there no healthy middleground?

I have spoke with a dev about this, thinking after 150+ runs we were doing something wrong. We are not. No tricks, no certain position, no hidden room or bridge to cross. Its pure luck I was told, chances increase if you run a full party who all have the elix ticking. One player loots the amulet, as previously stated the entire party does.

I do agree something isnt right, at this point, I would like to see a recipe to craft the amulet. I have stopped crafting the dimensional elix.

I liked farming for the glinstone set, at least we could see our progression towards the set. If you wanted the set, you had to work for it, the harder we worked the quicker we got there.

3 Banished parts make a great combo with the Haste set (Antignome needs 4 parts).
That's the only redeeming factor. People going for the set with broken rarity wasted a shetload of orc fangs (after the other costs) and got their 30m Antignome sets devalued in minutes. The lesson we learned this season is: the only way to win is not to play the game and wait for event glitches.

The quest line itself really bad in my opinion , which ended same like glint set & after all the new gear suppressed the stats. Next time i wait until things happen like antignome set kind. Dnt wanna waste my real life time for nothing in returns. Instead i would sit at town and have chitchat with frnds.
Now hardly run there unless a few frnds doing 500b there.

I hope it wont happen again with new mythic gears upgrade once the stages in mausoleum go up.. This time no rush..

I tried for a couple days straight after the update and nothing. As far as I know, many more are running nowm, but none have been looted.

What i don't understand is why there was the need for an absurd rarity for the amulet in the first place, since the banished ring already limits the number of complete sets in the first place pretty well.

Could you explain what you mean by you got some extra amulets? In fact, on the screenshot it doesn't look like a portal to go through but rather like a zone, did you find the (how many?) amulets in that zone as a drop? Has there been any system message? Did it say player x rerolled to the dimensional portal?

Due to the way the Dimensional Bridge Portal works, we cannot do a server-wide system message that a player has looted it. It remains secret to others unless you want to tell them yourself. The portal should only give each person 1 random Banished Power Chain (of the 3 possible), I've found the circumstances to why the portal was being a little too generous and will be tightening that up!

Thanks! Our loot was weirdly distributed, one of us even looted none amulet at all. Of course we fixed that, so everyone in our team won. Now give us the new banished content please, hehe!

Sometimes you suffer from a glitch (i had 2 full Antignome Sets worth 60m before the glitched Antignome thief arrived) sometimes it works in your favour.

The early bird catches the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese...

Not useless haha. according to dev, players would wish they should've completed at least one set either antignome or banished. I don't know what they mean by that. From the teaser we now know that set weapons are coming (rumor) with upcoming new content.
