I have tried the beta on a Samsung Galaxy tab and it heats up the device pretty fast.
Does any other device have this heat issue?

Only if I play on my nook color for like3 hours straight.

If your device has overheating problems, nudge the 'battery saver' option to the right a bit (I think it's on the second page of options) - it defaults to completely off, which means fastest framerate it can manage, but highest cpu usage also.

I've been playing on the 10.1 recently. It gets a little warm after several hours of play but is still comfortable to hold. PL and SL run beautifully on it!

I'll try that battery saver suggestion and report back what I find. :)

I am playing on a GT-P1000. 10.1 isn't out yet here.

I bought an Asus Transformer Tablet instead. Pocket legends and star legends were the first things that I downloaded haha
Works like a charm!
I wrote a small review in the discussion boards on it

Ive been playing for months on my galaxy tab and havent had any problems like this. I bought it specifically for PL and havent had any issues on SL beta either. Its absolutely s tunning to look at and lighter to hold for extended periods unlike my IPAD also unlike my IPAD it doesn't lag at all :-)

I have been playing since the galaxy 2 was released PL and kick after kic after kick. Now with this one it eats my CPU - %80 highest so far and 250 mb of memory. OMFG if this is advanced tech then i'am a potato.
